Olindo Valdivia vs Edmundo Merlo

Boxing Daily Report from the Leon de Juda promoted show at Phonotheque, Montevideo,  taking place on 06/08/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Valdivia (40(16) - 23(11) - 5) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Edmundo Merlo(5 - 5(1) - 3) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Valdivia and Merlo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Manuel Santos, and the three ringside judges are Ximen Feria, Franco Berrones and Cuba Leiva.  

Round 1: 

Valdivia feints a right hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

The winner by KO is Valdivia!
