Barry Maza vs Daniel Marrs

Boxing Daily Report from the Affandaboi promotions promoted show at Glynn Coll Gym, Jersey City,  taking place on 06/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Barry Maza (18(2) - 0) who hails from Newark, USA and Daniel Marrs(12 - 12 - 2) from Paterson, USA.  Both Maza and Marrs weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Sid Kellison, Ewan McLoughlin and Theo Halley.  

Round 1: 

Maza gets on the inside.  Maza quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Marrs throws a left hook, but Maza clinches his opponent.  Maza pushes his forearm into Marrs's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maza about fouling.  
Marrs manages to force Maza onto the ropes.  Marrs tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Marrs steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Maza sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maza lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Maza clinches his opponent.  Maza leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Maza feints a cross, and then is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Maza closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Marrs finds the target with a jab.  
Maza steps inside.  Marrs pivots to the side of his opponent.  Maza lands a firm right hook.  Maza holds on to his opponent.  Maza is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Maza's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maza feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Maza steps inside.  Maza pivots from in front of his opponent.  Maza throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Maza clinches his opponent.  Maza is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Marrs.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.
