Ulric Marner vs Irfan Sylla

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Olympiahalle, Munich,  taking place on 06/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulric Marner (8(3) - 0) who hails from Bochum, Germany and Irfan Sylla(3 - 2) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Marner and Sylla weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Archard Labus, and the three ringside judges are Dietz Pilling, Reamonn Dade and Wilson Gay.  

Round 1: 

Marner lands an overhand left to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Marner hits home with a firm cross.

Sylla gets on the inside.  Marner lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Marner ties up his opponent.  Marner leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Sylla almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Marner is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Marner gets on the inside.  Marner thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Sylla away.  Marner lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS SYLLA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Sylla now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Sylla is looking to close the distance.  Marner lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sylla almost instantly gets his legs back.

Sylla steps inside.  Marner lands a stinging left uppercut.  Marner holds on to his opponent.  Sylla is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Marner's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marner lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS SYLLA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Sylla almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sylla closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Marner digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Marner holds on to his opponent.  Marner is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Marner throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marner to stop fouling.  
Sylla steps inside.  Marner sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Marner connects with a right hook.  Marner holds on to his opponent.  Marner tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sylla's kidney. The referee warns Marner and breaks the clinch.  
Sylla forces Marner to back into the ropes.  Sylla attempts to land a cross, but Marner slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marner is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sylla recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Marner connects with a sharp overhand left.  
Marner lands a ramrod jab.  
Marner connects with an overhand right.  
Marner snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Marner advances into close range.  Sylla throws a left hook, but Marner ties up his opponent.  Sylla leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marner tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sylla almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sylla's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Sylla's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
