Mark Owen vs Matt Cowie

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Prichard, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/08/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Owen (28(4) - 13(4)) who hails from Greensboro, USA and Matt Cowie(12 - 19(6) - 5) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Owen and Cowie weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Racine, and the three ringside judges are Felix Hughes, Richard Davies and Joel Richard.  

Round 1: 

Owen is looking to close the distance.  Owen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Owen pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left uppercut.
