Ashley Hopping vs John Bryson

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at Circle Hotel, Bridgeport,  taking place on 06/08/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Hopping (29(20) - 5(1) - 2) who hails from Bridgeport, USA and John Bryson(14 - 10 - 3) from Bridgeport, USA.  Hopping weighed in at 174 pounds And 8 ounces, while Bryson weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Boal, and the three ringside judges are Peter Catanach, Peter Catanach and Mike Dysart.  

Round 1: 

Hopping is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Hopping holds on to his opponent.  Hopping pushes his forearm into Bryson's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hopping.  As Bryson tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hopping dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bryson is on target with a cross.  
Bryson manouvers Hopping onto the ropes.  Hopping hits home with a cross.  
Hopping closes the distance.  Hopping pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Bryson's liver.  
Hopping advances into close range.  Hopping sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hopping lands a sharp left hook.  Hopping holds on to his opponent.  Hopping throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Hopping and breaks the clinch.  
Hopping lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hopping advances into close range.  Hopping quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Bryson recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hopping manouvers Bryson into a neutral corner.  Bryson attempts to land a right hook, but Hopping slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hopping pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Hopping pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Hopping pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Hopping lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hopping holds on to his opponent.  Hopping leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hopping's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Bryson quickly recovers. 
Bryson lands a cross.  
Hopping closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Hopping lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Hopping closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bryson recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hopping lands a jab.  
Hopping steps inside.  Hopping sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hopping sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hopping lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Hopping clinches his opponent.  Bryson leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hopping uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bryson behind the head. Hopping pushes his forearm into Bryson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hopping lands a solid left hook.  Hopping throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Hopping forces Bryson to back into the ropes.  Bryson throws a left hook, but Hopping clinches his opponent.  Hopping leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hopping lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hopping steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hopping gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bryson's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Bryson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bryson's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Hopping sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Hopping is on target with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  BRYSON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Hopping!
