Vince Wangari vs Okoth Mburu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Nakuru Cheserem, Nakuru,  taking place on 16/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vince Wangari (27(20) - 11(10)) who hails from Naivasha, Kenya and Okoth Mburu(4 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Wangari and Mburu weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Halaby, and the three ringside judges are Jay Butita, Malcolm Atwoli and Andy Uttien.  

Round 1: 

Wangari gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Mburu's ribs.  
Wangari connects with a left uppercut.  
Wangari quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mburu throws a right hook, but Wangari ties up his opponent.  Wangari is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wangari to stop fouling.  
Wangari walks Mburu into the corner.  Wangari lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wangari clinches his opponent.  Wangari is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wangari drives a right uppercut into Mburu's body.  
Wangari digs in a left uppercut to Mburu's ribs.  Wangari ties up his opponent.  Wangari leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Wangari's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
