Iain MacKay vs Rob McVay

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 05/09/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Iain MacKay (12 - 8(3)) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Rob McVay(3 - 6 - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  Both MacKay and McVay weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Iain MacCracken, William Cooper and Adam McCorquodale.  

Round 1: 

MacKay connects with an overhand right.  MacKay tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
