Dave Seff vs Quin Perea

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Macumba Habana, Havana,  taking place on 15/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dave Seff (9(7) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Quin Perea(1 - 1) from Santa Clara, Cuba.  Both Seff and Perea weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Berto Marcelino, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Lagos, Juan Ledezma and Oihane Rossel.  

Round 1: 

Seff advances into close range.  Seff sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Perea throws a left hook, but Seff clinches his opponent.  Seff is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Seff pushes his forearm into Perea's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Seff about fouling.  
Seff lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Seff closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Seff lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Perea throws a left uppercut, but Seff holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Seff pushes his forearm into Perea's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Seff lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Seff hits home with a solid right uppercut.  Seff tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Seff is on target with a solid left uppercut to Perea's liver.  Seff ties up his opponent.  Seff is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Seff uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Perea behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Seff manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Perea dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Seff lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Perea almost instantly recovers.
