Zuffur Mahdavi vs Khalid Haque

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 06/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zuffur Mahdavi (11(8) - 0 - 1) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Khalid Haque(20(11) - 6(5) - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Mahdavi and Haque weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Mohammed, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Sinai, Haider Amir and Azam Asmar.  

Round 1: 

Haque gets on the inside.  Mahdavi tries to land a right hook, but Haque blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Haque is looking to close the distance.  Mahdavi drives a left hook into his opponents body.  As Haque tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mahdavi dabs at his face checking for damage.
