Amer Mansoor vs Amon Makiha

Boxing Daily Report from the fresh start promoted show at fresh Gym, Camaguey,  taking place on 14/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Mansoor (9(5) - 0) who hails from Pune, India and Amon Makiha(12 - 22(4) - 4) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Mansoor weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Makiha weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montenegro Hermida, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Estay, Jose Marcelo and Hilario Camejo.  

Round 1: 

Mansoor lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Mansoor is looking to close the distance and lands a SAVAGE left hook.  MAKIHA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Makiha almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mansoor manages to force Makiha into the blue corner.  Mansoor connects with a firm right hook.  Mansoor clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mansoor pushes his forearm into Makiha's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mansoor drives a solid right hook into Makiha's body.  
Mansoor is on target with a firm right hook to Makiha's ribs.  
Mansoor sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Mansoor steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Mansoor clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mansoor pushes his forearm into Makiha's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mansoor sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Makiha throws a left hook, but Mansoor holds on to his opponent.  Mansoor leans on his opponent using all his weight. Mansoor is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mansoor and breaks the clinch.  
Mansoor advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mansoor closes the distance.  Makiha throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Mansoor ties up his opponent.  Mansoor hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Mansoor uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Makiha's kidney. The ref breaks Mansoor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Makiha attempts to land a cross, but Mansoor slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mansoor lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mansoor lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Mansoor is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Mansoor lands a right hook.  
Mansoor walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Mansoor lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Makiha almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Makiha attempts to land a left hook, but Mansoor slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mansoor lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mansoor lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Makiha pivots to the left of his opponent.  Makiha tries to land a left hook, but Mansoor blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mansoor steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mansoor sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Mansoor lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Mansoor lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND MAKIHA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Makiha almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Makiha's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Makiha's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mansoor is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  MAKIHA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MAKIHA CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mansoor!
