Goro Higashi vs Ichiro Kono

Boxing Daily Report from the BUSHIDO Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 26/08/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Higashi (7 - 8 - 4) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ichiro Kono(11 - 5 - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Higashi weighed in at 117 pounds And 15 ounces, while Kono weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yutaka Omura, and the three ringside judges are Aki Mizuno, Jiro Ige and Kyo Minami.  

Round 1: 

Higashi throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
