Ichiro Tokuda vs Naoki Tanigawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Ichiro Tao Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 28/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ichiro Tokuda (7 - 5) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Naoki Tanigawa(31(2) - 2(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  Tokuda weighed in at 200 pounds, while Tanigawa weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Shimizu, and the three ringside judges are Hajime Machi, Kenji Fujimoto and Takeo Imada.  

Round 1: 

Tokuda connects with an overhand left.

Tanigawa is looking to close the distance.  As Tanigawa tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tokuda dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Tokuda.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
