Hayden Bates vs John Trent

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Toronto Davies, Toronto,  taking place on 13/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hayden Bates (2(1) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and John Trent(13 - 21(2) - 7) from Mississauga, Canada.  Bates weighed in at 200 pounds, while Trent weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Archie, and the three ringside judges are Dylan Morris, Josh Watson and Joel Griffin.  

Round 1: 

Bates closes the distance and drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Bates holds on to his opponent.  Bates pushes his forearm into Trent's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bates.  
Bates is on target with a solid right uppercut to Trent's ribs.

Trent gets on the inside.  Bates lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Trent almost instantly recovers.

Bates throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Bates clinches his opponent.  Bates leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Trent throws a right hook, but Bates holds on to his opponent.  Bates leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Bates's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bates slams a nasty left hook into Trent's body.  TRENT IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Bates feints a left hook, and then lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Bates advances into close range and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trent throws a left hook, but Bates clinches his opponent.  Bates is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bates about fouling.  
Trent hits home with a cross.
