Ricardo Meraz vs Angel Barillas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Villaflor, Mexico City,  taking place on 27/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Meraz (3 - 7 - 2) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Angel Barillas(8 - 7 - 2) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Meraz weighed in at 168 pounds and 15 ounces, while Barillas weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Meraz came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Segura, and the three ringside judges are Juan Capote, Carlos Porro and Quito Tostado.
