Hisoka Sugiyama vs Taro Ishii

Boxing Daily Report from the Panyin Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 28/08/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisoka Sugiyama (1 - 6 - 2) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Taro Ishii(4 - 11(1) - 6) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Both Sugiyama and Ishii weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Hora, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Kusumoto, Mikio Iwasaki and Ryo Kaba.

Ishii advances into close range.  Ishii sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ishii tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sugiyama hits home with an overhand left.  
Sugiyama throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Ishii time to recover.  
Ishii closes the distance.  Ishii quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

As Ishii tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Sugiyama has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a minor cut above.
