Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Hands Arena, Chicago,  taking place on 10/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jeremie Belcourt (5(1) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Michael Desmond(13 - 17(5) - 3) from West Valley City, USA.  Belcourt weighed in at 237 pounds, while Desmond weighed in at 213 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ethan Bukowski, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Baker, Jordan Protheroe and Ewan Lockart.  

Round 1:

Belcourt closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Belcourt lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Desmond's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Desmond's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

It looks like Desmond has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
