Dennis MacGuire vs Joshua Leary

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Copper Box Arena, London,  taking place on 13/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Southern England Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dennis MacGuire (14(10) - 3(1)) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Joshua Leary(13 - 6) from London, UK.  MacGuire weighed in at 122 pounds, while Leary weighed in at 121 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Winstone, and the three ringside judges are Bob Slatter, Sammy Farrell and Ron MacArthur.  

Round 1:

MacGuire pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Leary is looking to close the distance and walks MacGuire down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leary throws a left hook, but MacGuire clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, MacGuire pushes his forearm into Leary's face.  The ref breaks MacGuire's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
