Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne,  taking place on 06/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Lay (36(13) - 27(25) - 1) who hails from Perth, Australia and Lee Fate(17(6) - 13(6)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Lay and Fate weighed in at 112 pounds.
