Rehman Labib vs Zuffur Badawi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Giza promoted show at Eck Gym, Giza,  taking place on 01/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Giza Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rehman Labib (17(14) - 2(1)) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Zuffur Badawi(19 - 13(4) - 1) from Giza, Egypt.  Both Labib and Badawi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azam Labib, and the three ringside judges are Majid Sabahi, Khalid Adel and Abdul El-Sayed.  

Round 1: 

Badawi steps away from his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.  
Labib advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Labib steps inside and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Labib forces Badawi to retreat onto the ropes.  Labib lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Labib is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Badawi's body.  Labib clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Labib pushes his forearm into Badawi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Labib advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Badawi throws a right hook, but Labib holds on to his opponent.  Labib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Labib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Labib lands with a stinging jab.  
Labib gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Badawi lands a right hook, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Labib advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Labib lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Labib lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Badawi tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Labib blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Labib steps inside and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Labib lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Labib lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Labib ties up his opponent.  Labib throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Badawi quickly recovers. 
Labib is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Labib clinches his opponent.  Labib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Labib to stop fouling.  
Labib is on target with a big left hook.  BADAWI IS HURT!  Badawi quickly recovers. 
Labib closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Badawi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Badawi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Badawi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Labib lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!

Labib steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  It looks like Badawi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Labib lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Labib clinches his opponent.  Labib leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Labib lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Labib sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Badawi's body.  
Labib lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Badawi tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Badawi's ribcage.

Labib lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Labib throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Labib lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Labib gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Labib is on target with a left hook to Badawi's ribs.  Labib attempts to land a cross, but Badawi slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Labib lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  

Labib gets on the inside.  Labib sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Labib lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Labib clinches his opponent.  Labib tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Badawi behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Labib pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Badawi quickly recovers. 
Labib advances into close range and digs in a firm left hook to Badawi's body.  Labib clinches his opponent.  Labib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Labib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Labib advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Labib lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Labib lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Badawi quickly recovers.

Labib gets on the inside.  Labib lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Badawi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Labib dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Labib is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Labib steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  Labib throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Labib lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Badawi has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Labib manouvers Badawi into the corner.  Labib lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Labib pivots from in front of his opponent.  Badawi throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Labib is on target with a hurtful right hook.  BADAWI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Labib quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BADAWI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Badawi cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Labib!
