Simon Boyer vs Albain Konare

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Dakar Guichard, Dakar,  taking place on 02/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Simon Boyer (5 - 3) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Albain Konare(4 - 4 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Boyer and Konare weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gaston Angrand, and the three ringside judges are Sid Soumah, Landry de la Bretonne and Rance Artaud.  

Round 1:

Konare advances into close range.  Boyer sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.
