Malcolm Wylie vs Adam Cornog

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Civic Center Stoner Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 07/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Iowa Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm Wylie (5 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Adam Cornog(5(1) - 2) from Des Moines, USA.  Both Wylie and Cornog weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Mower, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Bathgate, Amon Stackpoole and Blake Balderston.  

Round 1: 

Cornog advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Cornog ties up his opponent.  Cornog pushes his forearm into Wylie's face.  The referee warns Cornog and breaks the clinch.  
Cornog quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cornog lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Cornog clinches his opponent.  Cornog tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wylie behind the head. Cornog leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cornog is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Cornog clinches his opponent.  Cornog tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wylie's kidney. The ref breaks Cornog's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
