James Irwin vs Richie Briar

Boxing Daily Report from the Goldie Bunzworth promoted show at New York City Rodano, New York City,  taking place on 05/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Irwin (8 - 16(1)) who hails from New York City, USA and Richie Briar(21 - 22(7) - 2) from Buffalo, USA.  Both Irwin and Briar weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Webb, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Misserville, Joshua Ferguson and Chris Cavanaugh.  

Round 1: 

Irwin advances into close range.  Briar hits home with a left uppercut.  
Irwin gets on the inside.  Briar pivots to the left of his opponent.  Briar drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Irwin ties up his opponent.  Briar uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Irwin behind the head. As they grapple, Irwin pushes his forearm into Briar's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Irwin.

Irwin tries to step out of his opponents range.  Briar hits home with a cross.  
Briar pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Briar steps inside and walks Irwin onto the ropes.  Briar pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Briar gets on the inside.  Briar pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Irwin is on target with a cross.  
Irwin closes the distance and lands a right hook.
