Hope Haruna vs Emem Malachy

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan,  taking place on 13/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hope Haruna (7(5) - 0 - 1) who hails from Enugu, Nigeria and Emem Malachy(24(14) - 6(4)) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Haruna and Malachy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olufemi Eljibril, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Basa, Will Akintoye and Rehman Khari.  

Round 1: 

Haruna steps inside.  Malachy throws a right hook, but Haruna holds on to his opponent.  Malachy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Haruna drives a stinging left hook into Malachy's ribs.  
Malachy pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Haruna digs in a right hook to Malachy's body.  
Haruna gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Haruna slams a hurtful left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  MALACHY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Haruna holds on to his opponent.  Malachy uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Haruna's kidney. Malachy almost instantly recovers.

Malachy lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Haruna ties up his opponent.  Malachy leans on his opponent using all his weight. Haruna is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Haruna to stop fouling.

Haruna DETONATES a nasty cross on his opponents face.  MALACHY IS HURT!  Malachy almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Malachy switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Haruna blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Haruna advances into close range.  Malachy pivots to the left of his opponent.  Malachy is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Haruna ties up his opponent.  Haruna tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Malachy's kidney. The referee warns Haruna and breaks the clinch.  
Haruna lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Haruna hits home with a stinging cross.  
Malachy lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Malachy drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Haruna is looking to close the distance.  Haruna throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.
