Heung-Min Ryu vs Tae-hee Yum

Boxing Daily Report from the Atintande Promotions promoted show at Daegu Hong, Daegu,  taking place on 06/09/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Korea-Daegu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Heung-Min Ryu (25(2) - 5(2)) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Tae-hee Yum(20 - 14(3) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Daegu, South Korea.  Ryu weighed in at 147 pounds, while Yum weighed in at 147 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Yum came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jong-ho Toh, and the three ringside judges are Seung-gyu Um, Jeong-ho Toh and Bo-kyung Hahm.  

Round 1: 

Ryu steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Ryu advances into close range.  Ryu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ryu hits home with a right hook.  Ryu ties up his opponent.  Ryu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ryu and breaks the clinch.  
Ryu closes the distance.  Yum pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Ryu lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Ryu steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ryu closes the distance.  Ryu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Yum throws a left hook, but Ryu clinches his opponent.  Ryu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yum's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ryu to stop fouling.  
Ryu is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Ryu ties up his opponent.  Ryu hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ryu cuts off the ring, trapping Yum in a corner.  Ryu lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ryu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ryu lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ryu digs in a left hook to Yum's ribs.  
Ryu gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Yum throws a right hook, but Ryu clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ryu lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Ryu throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Ryu's body.  
Ryu gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yum's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ryu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Yum's body.  
Ryu closes the distance and drives a right hook into Yum's ribs.  
Ryu drives a right hook into Yum's body.  
Ryu cuts off the ring, trapping Yum in the red corner.  Ryu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ryu lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yum switches the action to the outside.  Ryu tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ryu lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Yum is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ryu lands with a sharp jab.  
Ryu lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Ryu lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS YUM TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Yum has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ryu whips in a DESTRUCTIVE right hook to his opponents ribcage.  YUM IS DOWN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ryu!
