Ora Barbara vs Vicente Nery

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Manila,  taking place on 13/09/2042:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ora Barbara (10(4) - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Vicente Nery(37 - 23(14) - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Barbara and Nery weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Macasieb, and the three ringside judges are Angel Bulalayao, Edmundo Cepeda and Berto Gumintong.  

Round 1: 

Barbara gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Nery's body.  
Nery tries to land a right hook, but Barbara dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Nery finds the target with a jab.  
Barbara gets on the inside.  Nery tries to land a right hook, but Barbara slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nery tries to keep the action at long range.  Barbara lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Barbara gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.

Nery walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nery sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Barbara attempts to land a left uppercut, but Nery sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Barbara steps inside.  Nery tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Barbara drives a potent right hook into his opponents body.  NERY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nery recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nery connects with a cross.  
Barbara closes the distance and crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  NERY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Barbara is looking to force the stoppage!  Barbara lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS NERY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Nery now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Barbara is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Nery steps away from his opponent.  Barbara throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Barbara's ribs.

Barbara senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Barbara whips in a mean left hook to Nery's body.  NERY IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Barbara lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS NERY TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Barbara advances into close range.  Barbara lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS NERY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  It looks like Nery has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Barbara senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Nery and just needs the right shot.  Barbara slams a mean left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  NERY IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Nery tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barbara lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND SENDS NERY TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Barbara!
