Ata Gonul vs Can Akin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Izmir promoted show at Izmir Gozubuyuk, Izmir,  taking place on 07/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ata Gonul (11(8) - 0) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Can Akin(1 - 4 - 3) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Gonul and Akin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onur Vural, and the three ringside judges are Devrim Agca, Tolga Basher and Ayberk Akinci.  

Round 1: 

Gonul gets on the inside.  Akin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Akin throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gonul gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  Gonul clinches his opponent.  Gonul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gonul lands a jab.  
Gonul closes the distance.  Akin tries to land a left uppercut, but Gonul slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Gonul manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Gonul lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gonul throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Gonul clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gonul pushes his forearm into Akin's face.  The ref breaks Gonul's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Akin now seems to have his senses back.  
Gonul lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gonul ties up his opponent.  Gonul pushes his forearm into Akin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gonul lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gonul sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Gonul lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Gonul holds on to his opponent.  Gonul pushes his forearm into Akin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gonul is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Gonul holds on to his opponent.  Gonul leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gonul pushes his forearm into Akin's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gonul to stop fouling.  
Gonul lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND AKIN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Akin quickly recovers. 
Gonul hits home with a left uppercut.  
Gonul quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Akin throws a left hook, but Gonul ties up his opponent.  Gonul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gonul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gonul to stop fouling.  
Gonul lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Gonul holds on to his opponent.  Gonul is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gonul hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Gonul and breaks the clinch.  
Gonul lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gonul lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gonul lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Gonul manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  As Gonul tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Akin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gonul lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gonul lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gonul lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gonul is looking to close the distance and lands a firm left hook.  Gonul tries to land a left hook, but Akin blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gonul is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gonul lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gonul walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Gonul crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  AKIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.

Gonul closes the distance and connects with a VICIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE AKIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Gonul ties up his opponent.  Gonul is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gonul uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Akin behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  Akin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Akin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Akin's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Gonul walks his opponent into the corner.  Gonul lands a WICKED right uppercut.  AKIN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Gonul!
