Ulfet Gumbatov vs Alesger Gaziev

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Qabil Gadjarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 18/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulfet Gumbatov (10 - 20 - 2) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Alesger Gaziev(4(2) - 1) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Gumbatov and Gaziev weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Shabazz, and the three ringside judges are Huseinqulu Ismailov, Ahmed Beibutov and Shamil Abdurrahmirov.  

Round 1: 

Gaziev gets on the inside.  Gaziev pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gaziev lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Gaziev forces Gumbatov to retreat into the corner.  Gumbatov throws a left hook, but Gaziev ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gaziev pushes his forearm into Gumbatov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gaziev about fouling.  
Gaziev lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gaziev steps inside.  Gaziev pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gumbatov almost instantly recovers. 
Gaziev is looking to close the distance.  Gumbatov throws a right hook, but Gaziev clinches his opponent.  Gaziev leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gaziev advances into close range.  Gaziev tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Gaziev gets on the inside.  Gaziev voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Gumbatov throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gumbatov tries to keep the action at long range.  Gaziev finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Gaziev gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gumbatov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gaziev lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Gaziev is on target with a right hook.  
Gumbatov steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gaziev closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Gaziev holds on to his opponent.  Gaziev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gumbatov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gaziev hits home with a left hook.  
Gaziev steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Gaziev ties up his opponent.  Gaziev hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Gaziev pushes his forearm into Gumbatov's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gumbatov throws a right hook, but Gaziev holds on to his opponent.  Gaziev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
