Dave Seff vs Michael Messer

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 19/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dave Seff (10(8) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Michael Messer(5 - 1(1) - 1) from Toronto, Canada.  Seff weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Messer weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Erec Adore, Elliot Girardot and Briar Gide.  

Round 1: 

Seff advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Seff closes the distance.  Seff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Seff is looking to force the stoppage!  Seff drives a weighty left hook into Messer's body.  MESSER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Messer now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Seff is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to Messer's body.  Seff holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Messer is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Seff steps inside.  Seff pivots to the side of his opponent.  Seff digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Seff ties up his opponent.  Seff uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Messer's kidney. 
Messer throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Seff lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Messer tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Seff advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Seff clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Messer's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Messer's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Messer's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Seff forces Messer to retreat into a corner.  Seff lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Seff pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Messer quickly recovers. 
Seff quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to Messer's body.  
Seff lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Seff sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Seff slams a big right hook into his opponents body.  MESSER IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Messer has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Seff advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Messer quickly recovers. 
Seff lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Seff steps inside and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.

Seff advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Messer's ribcage.  
Seff lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.
