Obaid Hamid vs Rashid Abed

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikane Promotions promoted show at Atif Hossain Gym, Giza,  taking place on 23/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Giza Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obaid Hamid (7 - 17(1) - 4) who hails from Giza, Egypt and Rashid Abed(8 - 4 - 3) from Giza, Egypt.  Hamid weighed in at 111 pounds And 4 ounces, while Abed weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Farran, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Toghay, Kashif Hussain and Waleed Alawa.  

Round 1: 

Abed is looking to close the distance.  Hamid pivots to the right of his opponent.  Abed attempts to land a left hook, but Hamid blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hamid contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Abed throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
