Gianni Tierno vs Luigino Valdifiori

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Alfredo Senatore Gym, Catania,  taking place on 24/09/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianni Tierno (13 - 8 - 2) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Luigino Valdifiori(16 - 16(2) - 12) from Messina, Italy.  Both Tierno and Valdifiori weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Gallico, and the three ringside judges are Vittore Smuraglia, Antonio Gallico and Mauro Cavallari.  

Round 1: 

Tierno connects with an overhand right.  
Valdifiori walks Tierno onto the ropes.  Valdifiori hits home with a left hook.
