Goro Shibata vs Ryo Terada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 27/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Shibata (14 - 13(1) - 4) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Ryo Terada(6 - 16 - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Shibata and Terada weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuki Shimoda, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Ban, Yasushi Baba and Yoshi Ogura.  

Round 1: 

Shibata tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Terada feints a left, and then drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Terada sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Terada walks Shibata down, trapping him in the corner.  Terada sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Terada pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Shibata tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Shibata sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shibata attempts to land a cross, but Terada sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shibata lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Terada lands a cross.  
Terada closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shibata's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Terada's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
