Yuichi Kobayashi vs Kenji Sumida

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Carabetian Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 27/09/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yuichi Kobayashi (15 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Kenji Sumida(4 - 8) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Kobayashi and Sumida weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Shimizu, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Imada, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Naoki Tamashiro.  

Round 1: 

Sumida lands a jab.  Sumida throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.
