David Kiilu vs John Zakayo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Gachu, Kikuyu,  taking place on 27/09/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Kiilu (14 - 6 - 2) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and John Zakayo(6 - 12 - 1) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Kiilu weighed in at 244 pounds and 13 ounces, while Zakayo weighed in at 227 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amon Itote, and the three ringside judges are Ian Nanji, Elliot Icharia and Haider Ben.  

Round 1: 

Kiilu attempts to land a cross, but Zakayo blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Kiilu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Zakayo switches the action to the outside.  Zakayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Zakayo retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Kiilu accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Zakayo.
