Aaron Ferris vs Kai Quirk

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at Markets Field, Limerick,  taking place on 08/10/2042:

Clearly Iain Llewellyn have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aaron Ferris (12(2) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Kai Quirk(7 - 2 - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  Ferris weighed in at 135 pounds, while Quirk weighed in at 135 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Mulloy, and the three ringside judges are Sam Brody, Kieran Mulloy and Nathan Donnelly.  

Round 1: 

Ferris hits home with a firm left hook.  Ferris ties up his opponent.  Ferris uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Quirk's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quirk tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ferris lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ferris advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ferris throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Ferris ties up his opponent.  Ferris leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Quirk switches the action to the outside.  Ferris feints a left hook, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ferris is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Quirk switches the action to the outside.  Ferris hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Ferris gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Ferris sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ferris throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Ferris holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ferris lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Ferris pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ferris throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ferris clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ferris pushes his forearm into Quirk's face.  The referee warns Ferris and breaks the clinch.  
Ferris lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Quirk quickly recovers. 
Ferris lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Quirk tries to step out of his opponents range.  Ferris feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ferris is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ferris lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ferris lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Ferris manouvers Quirk onto the ropes.  Ferris lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.

Ferris stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ferris lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING QUIRK DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ferris!
