Orji Gowon vs Akeem Chikwelu

Boxing Daily Report from the Frimpong Promotions promoted show at Port Harcourt Awan, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 02/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Rivers State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orji Gowon (32 - 3 - 2) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Akeem Chikwelu(5 - 3(1)) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Both Gowon and Chikwelu weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Prince Nwapa, and the three ringside judges are Imran Nishtar, Bright Kuti and Elliot Adewunmi.
