Mike Hamidou vs Lee Berko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Bawuah, Tamale,  taking place on 02/10/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mike Hamidou (8(2) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Lee Berko(4 - 6 - 2) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Hamidou and Berko weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Eck, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Akamenya, Gazi Satter and Fraser Habe.  

Round 1: 

Hamidou throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hamidou closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hamidou is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Berko is looking to keep his distance.  Hamidou lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hamidou hits home with a right hook.  
Hamidou manages to force Berko into a neutral corner.  Hamidou connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Hamidou is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Hamidou advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Hamidou advances into close range and manages to force Berko onto the ropes.  Hamidou lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Berko attempts to land a right hook, but Hamidou slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hamidou gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Hamidou lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hamidou gets on the inside and forces Berko to back into a neutral corner.  Hamidou digs in a left hook to Berko's liver.  
Hamidou drives a left hook into his opponents body.  As Hamidou tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Berko dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Berko's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Berko's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Berko is looking to keep his distance.  Hamidou lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hamidou is looking to close the distance and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  BERKO IS HURT!  Berko quickly recovers. 
Hamidou walks Berko onto the ropes.  Hamidou lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Hamidou knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Hamidou lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hamidou lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Hamidou closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Hamidou thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Berko away.  Hamidou lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body, AND BERKO IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Berko has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hamidou gets on the inside.  Hamidou sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Hamidou is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left hook into Berko's body.  
Hamidou steps inside.  Hamidou pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hamidou drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hamidou digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hamidou gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Berko almost instantly recovers. 
Hamidou is on target with a sharp right hook to Berko's body.  
Hamidou gets on the inside.  Hamidou pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Berko pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hamidou goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Berko time to recover.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Berko's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
