Hikaru Hoshino vs Shinji Okubo

Boxing Daily Report from the Hakodate Boxing Federation promoted show at Shima-Enaga Gym, Hakodate,  taking place on 27/09/2042:

Clearly Hakodate Boxing Federation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Hikaru Hoshino (3 - 0) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Shinji Okubo(0 - 7 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Hoshino and Okubo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Takenaka, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kaneko, Kyo Minami and Yutaka Omura.  

Round 1: 

Hoshino is looking to close the distance.  Hoshino pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Hoshino closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hoshino gets on the inside.  Hoshino pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hoshino lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Hoshino tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hoshino advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Hoshino is looking to close the distance.  Okubo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Hoshino parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hoshino is on target with a firm cross.  
Hoshino lands with a sharp jab.  
Okubo is looking to close the distance.  Hoshino is on target with a right hook.  Hoshino ties up his opponent.  Okubo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hoshino behind the head. Hoshino is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Hoshino's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hoshino lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoshino is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hoshino walks his opponent into the corner.  Hoshino lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoshino sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoshino lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hoshino closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hoshino manouvers Okubo into the corner.  Hoshino pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Okubo gets on the inside.  Hoshino lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Okubo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hoshino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Okubo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Okubo's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Hoshino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Okubo drives a left hook into Hoshino's body.  
Hoshino advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Okubo hits home with a cross.  
Hoshino steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Okubo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hoshino gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Hoshino hits home with a left hook.  
Hoshino lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Hoshino is on target with a right hook.  
Okubo advances into close range.  Hoshino is on target with a right hook.  
Hoshino connects with a sharp right uppercut.

Hoshino closes the distance.  Hoshino leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Okubo tries to tag Hoshino on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Hoshino lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Okubo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hoshino lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Hoshino is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hoshino's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Okubo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Okubo's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
