Waleed Hammad vs Asif Alam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Dubai Azar, Dubai,  taking place on 03/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Hammad (5 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Asif Alam(22(7) - 7(1) - 2) from Dubai, UAE.  Hammad weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces, while Alam weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Azzam, and the three ringside judges are Asif Hamra, Aftab Emami and Ahmed Ghanem.  

Round 1: 

Alam closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Alam advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Alam pivots to the left of his opponent.  Alam throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Alam ties up his opponent.  Alam pushes his forearm into Hammad's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Alam about fouling.
