Morgan Edington vs James MacAuley

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Greensboro Crowe, Greensboro,  taking place on 05/10/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Morgan Edington (23(8) - 3(2)) who hails from Charlotte, USA and James MacAuley(23 - 12(2) - 3) from Durham, USA.  Edington weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while MacAuley weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Spence, and the three ringside judges are Jack Cameron, Richard Davies and Chris Farm.  

Round 1: 

Edington is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Edington pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Edington gets on the inside.  Edington pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As Edington tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as MacAuley dabs at his face checking for damage.  MacAuley has taken some damage there.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.
