Tim Hughes vs Lewis Nickson

Boxing Daily Report from the L2LBoxingPromotions promoted show at Saad Shaikh Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 29/09/2042:

Clearly L2LBoxingPromotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tim Hughes (5 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Lewis Nickson(5 - 2 - 2) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Hughes and Nickson weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Mark MacNevin and Terry Lyons.  

Round 1: 

Nickson is looking to close the distance and forces Hughes to retreat into the corner.  Nickson is on target with a left uppercut.  
Nickson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hughes is on target with a cross.  
Hughes sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nickson attempts to land a cross, but Hughes dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nickson gets on the inside and forces Hughes to back into a neutral corner.  Hughes is on target with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Nickson.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Hughes lands a right uppercut.  
Nickson drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Nickson closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Hughes on the ropes.  Nickson digs in a right hook to Hughes's body.  
As Nickson tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Hughes.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Hughes tries to keep the action at long range.  Hughes drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Nickson connects with a cross.  
Nickson lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
