Hisao Nakamura vs Hikaru Kurihara

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 31/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisao Nakamura (7(6) - 0) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Hikaru Kurihara(15 - 14(2) - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Nakamura and Kurihara weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Fukunaga, and the three ringside judges are Michi Morita, Shinji Sama and Kazuhiko Yamamura.  

Round 1: 

Nakamura is looking to close the distance.  Kurihara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kurihara tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Nakamura steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nakamura pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nakamura lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Nakamura attempts to land a left hook, but Kurihara blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nakamura lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Nakamura clinches his opponent.  Nakamura is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nakamura digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Nakamura lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Nakamura ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nakamura pushes his forearm into Kurihara's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nakamura about fouling.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nakamura dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nakamura feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nakamura closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nakamura backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Kurihara is whaling away with hooks, but Nakamura keeps his defence tight.  
Nakamura is on target with a solid left hook.  
Kurihara feints a cross, and then attempts to land a jab, but Nakamura dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nakamura gets on the inside.  Kurihara pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nakamura lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Nakamura steps inside.  Kurihara tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nakamura lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  Nakamura attempts to land a jab, but Kurihara parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nakamura steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Kurihara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nakamura digs in a left uppercut to Kurihara's body.  
Kurihara tries to keep the action at long range.  Nakamura hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kurihara's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kurihara's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
