Sancho Abascal vs Santiago Rio

Boxing Daily Report from the Majola Promotions promoted show at Alejandro Martinez Gym, Río Cuarto,  taking place on 15/10/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Córdoba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sancho Abascal (5 - 4 - 1) who hails from Río Cuarto, Argentina and Santiago Rio(3 - 11(1) - 2) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Abascal weighed in at 200 pounds, while Rio weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Bolivar, and the three ringside judges are Juan Carrasco, Carlos Mendivil and Juan Mario.  

Round 1: 

Abascal closes the distance.  Rio pivots to the right of his opponent.  Abascal lands a left uppercut.  Abascal attempts to land a right hook, but Rio parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abascal drives a left uppercut into Rio's ribs.
