Sam Curtin vs Davie Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at MetLife Stadium, Jersey City,  taking place on 15/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Curtin (5(1) - 0) who hails from Allentown, USA and Davie Jones(5 - 16 - 3) from Phoenix, USA.  Curtin weighed in at 154 pounds, while Jones weighed in at 153 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Dalton, and the three ringside judges are Cody Normand, Lee Bowell and Lee Bowell.  

Round 1: 

Curtin finds the target with a jab.  
Curtin feints a cross, and then lands a jab.  
Curtin steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Curtin feints a cross, tricking Jones into launching a left uppercut counter.  Curtin springs the trap and counters with  a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Curtin finds the target with a jab.  
Curtin lands a stinging jab.  
Jones steps inside.  Curtin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jones throws a right hook, but Curtin ties up his opponent.  Curtin pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jones gets on the inside.  Curtin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Jones's body.  
Jones steps inside and manouvers Curtin onto the ropes.  Jones throws a right uppercut, but Curtin holds on to his opponent.  Jones leans on his opponent using all his weight. Curtin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Curtin.  
Curtin lands a jab.  
Curtin is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Jones attempts to land a cross, but Curtin blocks the shot and counters with a FEARSOME right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE JONES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Jones recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jones advances into close range.  Curtin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Curtin throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Curtin ties up his opponent.  Curtin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Curtin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Curtin tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Jones gets on the inside.  Curtin lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Curtin lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Jones gets on the inside.  Curtin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Curtin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Curtin lands with a spiteful jab.  
Curtin tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Curtin lands with a stinging jab.  
Curtin switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Curtin lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Jones steps inside.  Curtin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jones's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Jones's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Curtin steps away from his opponent.  Curtin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Curtin lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS JONES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Curtin!
