Abdul Wassan vs Umair Molla

Boxing Daily Report from the Andoh Promotions promoted show at Abdul Takhmazov Gym, Tabriz,  taking place on 27/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Wassan (7 - 16 - 2) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Umair Molla(26(3) - 15(1) - 2) from Tabriz, Iran.  Both Wassan and Molla weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mohsin Sesay, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Sharif, Ahmed Rassi and Amjad Agayev.  

Round 1: 

Molla steps inside.  Molla pivots to the side of his opponent.  Molla lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Molla tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Molla steps inside and manouvers Wassan onto the ropes.  Molla lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Molla ties up his opponent.  Molla is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wassan steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wassan is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Molla advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Molla is on target with a solid right hook.  
Molla steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Molla attempts to land a left hook, but Wassan parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Molla gets on the inside and walks Wassan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Molla lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Molla lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Molla clinches his opponent.  Molla leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Molla hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Molla lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

Molla throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Wassan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Wassan throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wassan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Wassan's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
