Manus Van Boxlaer vs Rikki Cathoir

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-North Brabant promoted show at Claus Schelfhout Gym, Eindhoven,  taking place on 29/10/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands-North Brabant Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manus Van Boxlaer (16 - 19(1) - 8) who hails from Tilburg, Netherlands and Rikki Cathoir(6(2) - 1) from Eindhoven, Netherlands.  Both Van Boxlaer and Cathoir weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joos Van den Driessche, and the three ringside judges are Maxime Andries, Porter Penneit and Prosper Nielandt.  

Round 1: 

Cathoir digs in a solid right hook to Van Boxlaer's body.  
Cathoir tries to step out of his opponents range.  Van Boxlaer throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cathoir lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Cathoir leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Van Boxlaer attempts to land a left hook, but Cathoir parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Cathoir lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cathoir lands a cross.  
Van Boxlaer closes the distance.  Cathoir lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Cathoir ties up his opponent.  Cathoir pushes his forearm into Van Boxlaer's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cathoir about fouling.  
Cathoir drives a firm left hook into Van Boxlaer's body.  Cathoir clinches his opponent.  Cathoir leans on his opponent using all his weight. Cathoir tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Van Boxlaer behind the head. 
Cathoir gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Van Boxlaer connects with a cross.  
Cathoir hits home with a left hook.  
Cathoir drives a left hook into Van Boxlaer's body.

Van Boxlaer steps away from his opponent.  Van Boxlaer drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Cathoir lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cathoir switches the action to the outside.  Van Boxlaer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Van Boxlaer attempts to land a cross, but Cathoir slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Van Boxlaer pivots from in front of his opponent.  Van Boxlaer throws a right hook, but Cathoir holds on to his opponent.  Cathoir leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cathoir pushes his forearm into Van Boxlaer's face.  The ref breaks Cathoir's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cathoir lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Van Boxlaer steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Van Boxlaer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cathoir's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
