Ian Chiweshe vs Nabulung Poku

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo,  taking place on 08/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Chiweshe (13(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Nabulung Poku(25 - 19(12)) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Chiweshe and Poku weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Mumbengegwi, and the three ringside judges are Kaleb Muzanenhamo, George Chimutengwende and Cody Kumbula.  

Round 1: 

Chiweshe is on target with a stinging cross.  
Chiweshe switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Poku circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Chiweshe is on target with a VICIOUS left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE POKU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Poku recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Poku digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Poku lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Poku attempts to land a cross, but Chiweshe parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Chiweshe is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.

Chiweshe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Poku lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Poku sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Poku tries to land a cross, but Chiweshe blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Poku walks Chiweshe onto the ropes.  Chiweshe lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe is looking to keep his distance.  Poku lands a stiff jab.  Poku throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Poku attempts to land a jab, but Chiweshe sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Chiweshe lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe attempts to land a cross, but Poku sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Chiweshe is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Chiweshe tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Chiweshe thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Poku away.  Chiweshe lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING POKU TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Poku now seems to have got his legs back.  
Poku is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Poku cuts off the ring, trapping Chiweshe on the ropes.  Poku lands a cross.  
Chiweshe is looking to close the distance.  Poku is on target with a left hook to Chiweshe's body.  
Chiweshe is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

Chiweshe lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS POKU!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Chiweshe!
