Chike Matongo vs Claus Van Rooyen

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo,  taking place on 08/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Southern African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cheeky Chike Matongo (15(8) - 1) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Claus Van Rooyen(19 - 14(2) - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Matongo and Van Rooyen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Chimutengwende, and the three ringside judges are Joey Mumbengegwi, Kaleb Muzanenhamo and Cody Kumbula.  

Round 1: 

Van Rooyen lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Matongo advances into close range.  Van Rooyen lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
