Charlie Platt vs Lucas Stoddart

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Los Angeles Troup, Los Angeles,  taking place on 03/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Platt (4 - 12 - 3) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Lucas sneaky Stoddart(13(3) - 7(4) - 1) from Ontario, USA.  Platt weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces, while Stoddart weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Hasson, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salido, John Edmundson and Clint Grullon.  

Round 1: 

Stoddart is on target with a left hook.  
Stoddart steps inside and manages to force Platt into a corner.  Platt throws a left hook, but Stoddart holds on to his opponent.  Stoddart leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Stoddart steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Platt blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Platt tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but Stoddart sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Stoddart gets on the inside and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Platt steps to the outside.  Stoddart sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm jab into his opponents body.  
Stoddart lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Stoddart is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Platt throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Stoddart lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

Stoddart steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Platt's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Platt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Platt's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Stoddart steps inside and walks Platt down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stoddart lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.

The right shot from Stoddart could be enough to force the stoppage!  Stoddart lands a cross, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS PLATT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Platt cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Stoddart!
