Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Denver Balch, Denver,  taking place on 03/11/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Smith (41 - 11(4) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Denver, USA and Dominic Fail(25(19) - 7(4)) from Boulder, USA.  Smith weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces, while Fail weighed in at 153 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Pringle, and the three ringside judges are Chris Navin, Mark Notman and Brendan Noble.  

Round 1: 

Fail gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to Smith's liver.  Fail attempts to land a left hook, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Fail is on target with a left uppercut.  
Fail drives a left uppercut into Smith's body.  Fail ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fail pushes his forearm into Smith's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fail about fouling.  
Fail lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Fail digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Fail lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Fail lands a solid cross.  
Smith steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Smith hits home with a left uppercut.  
Fail lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fail forces Smith to back into the ropes.  Smith throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Smith switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Fail parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fail advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Smith quickly recovers. 
Fail gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Smith recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Fail digs in a left hook to Smith's body.  
Fail walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Smith digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Fail lands a right hook.  
Fail is on target with a left uppercut to Smith's body.  
Smith drives a left hook into Fail's body.  
Fail pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Fail attempts to land a right uppercut, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Smith is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Fail slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Smith waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Fail attempts to land a cross, but Smith dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fail is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Smith steps to the outside.  Fail is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Fail gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Smith tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Fail is on target with a jab.  
Fail steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Smith switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Fail could be enough to finish Smith!  Fail lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  It looks like Smith has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Smith finds the target with a jab.  
Fail advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Fail cuts off the ring, trapping Smith in a neutral corner.  Fail digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Smith attempts to land a right hook, but Fail sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Fail is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Fail drives a forceful left hook into Smith's body.  SMITH IS HURT!  Smith recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Fail is looking to close the distance.  Fail sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Smith hits home with a left hook.  Fail clinches his opponent.  Fail leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fail lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS SMITH!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Fail ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fail pushes his forearm into Smith's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Fail to stop fouling.  
Fail walks Smith onto the ropes.  Smith finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Fail attempts to land a left hook, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fail lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Smith dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fail pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Smith's ribcage.  
Fail lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fail lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Fail attempts to land a left hook, but Smith blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Fail lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Fail forces Smith to back into the ropes.  Smith is on target with a left hook.  
Fail thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Smith away.  Fail slams a hurtful left uppercut into his opponents body.  SMITH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Smith now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Fail lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS SMITH!  The ref does not give Smith the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Fail!
