Mark Ancrum vs Vince Watson

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 06/11/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Ancrum (3 - 7 - 5) who hails from Waterbury, USA and Vince Watson(5 - 9(1) - 1) from Stamford, USA.  Ancrum weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Watson weighed in at 200 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Watson came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Stephen, and the three ringside judges are Dave Rennick, Peter Catanach and John Kippen.  

Round 1: 

Ancrum hits home with a right hook.  
Watson pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ancrum connects with a right uppercut.  
Ancrum steps inside.  Watson attempts to land a left hook, but Ancrum sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ancrum tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ancrum hits home with a right hook.  
Ancrum connects with a right hook.  Ancrum goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Watson time to recover.  
Watson is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Watson lands a jab.  
Ancrum steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Ancrum advances into close range.  As Ancrum tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Watson tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ancrum hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Ancrum's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Watson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
